(Photo by Vince Bucci/Getty Images) I picked this photo because you can see SMG's outfit the best, but please know there are a ton of photos where they are very schmoopy and loving with each other. FPJ looks handsome and reasonable, and please explain to me how I actually remember SMG's outfit from this event???? She looks so 2001 and also very cute. ## Jessica Biel ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/08/GettyImages-2252257-1661131916.jpg) Cast member Jessica Biel at the 'Summer Catch' Premiere held at the Mann Village Theater in Los Angeles, CA., August 22, 2001\. (photo by Kevin Winter/Getty Images) Honestly....she looks great in this. Very 2001, but great. ## Michelle Trachtenberg and Evan Rachel Wood ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/08/GettyImages-1609767-1661131868-scaled.jpg) 393498 04: Actors Michelle Trachtenberg (L) and Evan Rachel Wood attend the premiere of the Warner Brother''s film "Summer Catch" August 22, 2001 in Los Angeles, CA. (Photo by Vince Bucci/Getty Images) Look at these two winsome youths! ## Mae Whitman ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/08/GettyImages-86267986-1661131952.jpg) Mae Whitman (Photo by SGranitz/WireImage) Speaking of sweet baby youths! ## Taran Killam ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/08/GettyImages-106382756-1661131993-scaled.jpg) Taran Killam (Photo by SGranitz/WireImage) YES THIS IS TARAN KILLAM. I'm non-ironically into this shirt. ## Topher Grace and Wilmer Valderrama ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/08/GettyImages-1609780-1661131881-scaled.jpg) 393498 16: Actors Topher Grace (L) and Wilmer Valderrama attend the premiere of the Warner Brother''s film "Summer Catch" August 22, 2001 in Los Angeles, CA. (Photo by Vince Bucci/Getty Images) The That 70s Show cast really did come out and support each other's projects. (Wilmer is in this movie.) ## Matthew Lillard ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/08/GettyImages-2251767-1661131907.jpg) Cast member Matthew Lillard arrives at the 'Summer Catch' Premiere held at the Mann Village Theater in Los Angeles, CA., August 22, 2001\. (photo by Kevin Winter/Getty Images) This movie was also a nice reunion of the She's All That cast, AND a predictor of the cast of Scooby-Doo. And this slide is the one where I remind everyone that Matthew Lillard is VERY hot in person. ## Amanda Bynes ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/08/GettyImages-77039374-1661131927-scaled.jpg) Amanda Bynes (Photo by Ron Galella/Ron Galella Collection via Getty Images) I sincerely believe Amanda Bynes is one of her generation's greatest comedians and I hope she is happy whatever she's doing now. We all owned these pull-on pencil skirts! ## Eva Longoria ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/08/GettyImages-78474101-1661131939-scaled.jpg) Eva Longoria (Photo by Steve Granitz Archive 1/WireImage) I promised you a tube top! And a tube top I have delivered. ## Alison Sweeney ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/08/GettyImages-89185750-1661131960-scaled.jpg) WESTWOOD,CA - AUGUST 22: Actress Alison Sweeney attends the "Summer Catch" Westwood Premiere on August 22, 2001 at Mann Village Theatre in Westwood, California. (Photo by Ron Galella, Ltd/Ron Galella Collection via Getty Images) "Hey! No, no. No, for some reason I'm wearing a cowboy hat? Yeah, it's fine. No one will remember this 20 years from now.) ## Maggie Lawson ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/08/GettyImages-104908340-1661131972.jpg) Maggie Wilson during "Summer Catch" Premiere at Mann's Village in Westwood, California, United States. (Photo by SGranitz/WireImage) We all owe Britney Spears royalties for every time we so much as tried on pants like these. ## Chrystee Pharris ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/08/GettyImages-104912084-1661131979.jpg) Chrystee Pharris during "Summer Catch" Premiere at Mann's Village in Westwood, California, United States. (Photo by SGranitz/WireImage) She looks adorable and is also usefully reminding me how often we all used to wear tank tops with rhinestone branding. Additionally: I loved her on Passions and I believe at this period, her character was really going through it because her sister was suffering from a bout of hysterical blindness while also briefly being a nun. ## Laura Prepon ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/08/GettyImages-104912101-1661131985.jpg) Laura Prepon during "Summer Catch" Premiere at Mann's Village in Westwood, California, United States. (Photo by SGranitz/WireImage) I've learned over the last few years that Laura Prepon is like the QUEEN of the slightly-cleap-looking Going Out Top -- the platonic ideal of Going Out Tops. ## Brittany Murphy ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/08/GettyImages-155511839-1661132017-scaled.jpg) Actress Brittany Murphy attends the Summer Catch Westwood Premiere on August 22, 2001 at Mann Village Theatre in Westwood, California. (Photo by Ron Galella, Ltd./Ron Galella Collection via Getty Images) And THIS is truly the platonic ideal of Going Out Looks in 2001\. The top! The jeans! The strappy sandals! The little bag! ## Beverley Mitchell ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/08/GettyImages-156083749-1661132030.jpg) Beverley Mitchell during 'Summer Catch' Premiere at Mann's Village in Westwood, California, United States. (Photo by Ron Galella/Ron Galella Collection via Getty Images) Meanwhile, Beverley Mitchell is (correctly) VERY proud that she nabbed that bag. ## Ashton Kutcher ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/08/GettyImages-134736401-1661132006.jpg) Ashton Kutcher during "Summer Catch" Premiere at Mann's Village Theater in Westwood, California, United States. (Photo by Mirek Towski/FilmMagic) Aw, look. SOMEONE at this premiere actually hired a stylist. (Other than SMG!) ## Riley Smith ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/08/GettyImages-156088645-1661132039-scaled.jpg) Riley Smith during 'Summer Catch' Premiere at Mann's Village in Westwood, California, United States. (Photo by Ron Galella/Ron Galella Collection via Getty Images) Fun fact! He's on the Berlanti *Nancy Drew*, which I guess is still happening? That's great, and also a show that casts Scott Wolf as the Hot Dad knows what it's doing. ## Gabriel Mann ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2022/08/GettyImages-627611220-1661132053.jpg) Gabriel Mann (co-star of the film) at the premiere of "Summer Catch." (Photo by Jody Cortes/Sygma/Sygma via Getty Images) He might wish he could have this one back. But I don't. I TREASURE IT. [21 Years Ago Today, "Summer Catch" PremieredYeah, you're going to want to see these.![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2022/08/gettyimages-1609784-1661131896-scaled.jpg)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/summer-catch-premiere-08-2022/)
