(Photo by Thearon W. Henderson/Getty Images) Coco performed "Lift Every Voice and Sing." [Karl Kani told Essence](https://www.instagram.com/p/DUg%5F3MCgXlj/?img%5Findex=1&ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) that this was conceived as a "cultural remix" of Whitney Houston's 1991 tracksuit from when she sang "The Star Spangled Banner." I love the reference and the mix of sporty and glamorous -- this looked so effective out there. ## Brandi Carlile in Thom Browne ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/02/GettyImages-2260596177-1770694377.jpg) SANTA CLARA, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 08: Brandi Carlile (R) performs "America the Beautiful" during Super Bowl LX at Levi's Stadium on February 08, 2026 in Santa Clara, California. (Photo by Chris Graythen/Getty Images) in a moment where parts of it so vehemently are not. Deaf artist Julian Ortiz signed "America the Beautiful" along with Brandi's singing and strumming. Brandi's Thom Browne suit is boring to me, from someone who has a more interesting eye than that. At the same time, it did strike a somber note as she sang about how great this country is, in a way that I suspect may have been designed to make us think. OR, and this is also possible, she just wore it because Thom Browne gave it to her. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/02/GettyImages-2260278314-1770694424.jpg) SANTA CLARA, CA - FEBRUARY 08: Brandi Carlile performs the America the Beautiful prior to the start of the Seattle Seahawks versus the New England Patriots Super Bowl LX game on February 8, 2026, at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, CA. (Photo by Matthew Huang/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images) SistaStrings are from Milwaukee, and they were AMAZING, as usual. I really enjoyed this whole performance. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/02/GettyImages-2260596110-1770694367.jpg) SANTA CLARA, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 08: Brandi Carlile (L) performs "America the Beautiful" during Super Bowl LX between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots at Levi's Stadium on February 08, 2026 in Santa Clara, California. (Photo by Chris Graythen/Getty Images) Methinks Brandi did too. ## Fred Michael Beam ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/02/GettyImages-2260592679-1770694400.jpg) SANTA CLARA, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 08: Fred Michael Beam is seen during the Super Bowl LX at Levi's Stadium on February 08, 2026 in Santa Clara, California. (Photo by Neilson Barnard/Getty Images) He signed "Lift Every Voice and Sing" and "The Star Spangled Banner." That jacket is FANTASTIC. What a star. We should have gotten to see more of all the interpreters. ## Charlie Puth ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/02/GettyImages-2260597599-1770694354.jpg) SANTA CLARA, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 08: Charlie Puth performs the National Anthem during Super Bowl LX at Levi's Stadium on February 08, 2026 in Santa Clara, California. (Photo by Thearon W. Henderson/Getty Images) Especially when this rendition was so... meh. It was very Easy Listening, to me. ## Green Day ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/02/GettyImages-2260594573-1770694390.jpg) SANTA CLARA, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 08: Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day performs prior to Super Bowl LX between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots at Levi's Stadium on February 08, 2026 in Santa Clara, California. (Photo by Thearon W. Henderson/Getty Images) I wish Green Day had done it. I know Taylor Swift thinks Charlie Puth should be a bigger artist, but I don't think he has enough personal charisma for this. ## Dorothea Hurley and Jon Bon Jovi ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/02/GettyImages-2260592591-1770695986.jpg) SANTA CLARA, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 08: (L-R) Dorothea Hurley and Jon Bon Jovi attend the Super Bowl LX Pregame at Levi's Stadium on February 08, 2026 in Santa Clara, California. (Photo by Kevin Mazur/Getty Images for Roc Nation) I am always comforted by the sight of Jon Bon, and the fact that this photo totally looks like something you'd get if he'd handed his cell phone camera to a bystander and been like, "Can you get one of us???" ## Keke Palmer ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2026/02/GettyImages-2260615518-1770694341.jpg) SANTA CLARA, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 08: Keke Palmer attends the Super Bowl LX Pregame at Levi's Stadium on February 08, 2026 in Santa Clara, California. (Photo by Kevin Mazur/Getty Images for Roc Nation) Speaking of personal charisma! I would love to know why she's wearing that shirt, as she is not from Buffalo that I know of. I need the story, Keke!
