## Anya Taylor-Joy in custom Jacquemus

This is fine I guess -- Princess Peach does wear pink, after all -- and I do appreciate the sheer drama of it. Anya LOVES to look costumey, and she looks like a socialite hoping this fits the Kentucky Derby dress code. That hat clearly has its own gravity and perhaps some sentient life.

I grabbed this photo to show you how the hat is attached, and then realized it gives us a side view of the top -- which is SO underwhelming. It's a poorly adorned strapless bra. Could they not have finished it?

## Charlie Day

Charlie plays Luigi -- how about a Luigi's Mansion 3 movie for Halloween, which would tie into Universal's Halloween Horror Nights (they already have Mario World there). THAT game is ALSO so great. Anyway, he looks fine, and perhaps semi-apologetic.

## Chris "Crisp Rat" Pratt

He looks good, he has appropriate hits of red for a dude playing Mario, and I still have an ick reaction to him in general.

## Donald Glover

He's Yoshi, a flying baby dinosaur who I think would be astonished and flattered at how fashionable his alter-ego is.

## Keegan Michael Key

You'll never guess who he plays. (In case you don't know the games: Toad, a neurotic mushroom with a hundred other versions of Toad scurrying around with different-colored toadstool hats; I am never clear if they're all clones, or what,)

## Jack Black

He obviously plays Princess Rosalina. JUST KIDDING.
