[The designer said](https://wwd.com/runway/fall-couture-2021/paris/zuhair-murad/review/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) this collection was inspired by Venice and Murano glass, but I assume it's also inspired by the fact that at the moment the Emmys are planned for in-person and there are a LOT of nominees, a LOT of shows, and A WHOLE LOT of red carpet moments waiting to be had. He should arm-wrestle Elie Saab for all of them.
