This also maybe wasn't the BEST choice for the portrait studio, on account of how she looks like she just woke up and wrapped herself in some romantic bedding. This is how I imagine a lot of romance novel covers are shot. The model LOOKS like she's in period wear but actually she's just in a big shirt and is chilling in capris and Birks.

Like the sweater, skip the shoes, love the woman. Let us please give The CW some props here: It has a telenovela style show that does not force its characters to speak English to each other if it wouldn't be natural to (in addition to breaking conventions creatively); it has a musical show that isn't afraid to get a little dark; it has a zombie comedy; it has a superhero show led by a black actor; and it has a timeship captain running the show on Legends of Tomorrow who happens to be a bisexual woman (but who is mostly hot for other women). That network is putting a lot of different flavors -- of people, of shapes, of sexuality -- on its airwaves and I think it's great. Long may it reign. (Although thank God Reign is finally over.)
