Chris Tucker and Ben Affleck

I liked a lot of things about Ben Affleck's interview with THR, but one big one was that he took a second to praise Chris Tucker's contributions, and say he should have had a writing credit on the film that he (and they) chose not to take. His willingness to recognize filmmaking as the team sport it is, and to elevate the Black voices that contributed to telling a story that revolves around one of the most famous Black athletes in the universe, is important and too rare. Both gents look good here, also.

Julius Tennon and Viola Davis

Julius Tennon's suit is SUPER. Viola's is okay -- something about the pushed-up sleeve on the coat, the blouse sleeves being fully down, and the long pants, makes it all feel a little... clunky, perhaps?

Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso

Luciana looks very cool. I remember seeing them at Fashion Week once, and she was in leather pants, and I have never wanted my own leather pants more in my LIFE. She just made them look RIGHT.

I enjoy the idea of this so much, and then we get to the bottom, and I feel like he is wearing drapes.

I laughed because I thought, "Wow, his buttons really went wonky on him here," and then I blew it up and realized they were designed that way. I am not TOTALLY sure any of the reinventions of the shirt that have happened here were NECESSARY, but he is definitely the right context in which to try them.

Handsome! I am, admittedly, REALLY CURIOUS about the Tetris movie, and I want it to be fantastic because I like Taron a lot and I am still a little burnt that he didn't get more love for Rocketman.

I have no idea what this was in aid of, really, other than... being Instagrammable? I guess that's all it needs to do.
