# Sydney Sweeney Bats Five Hundred

Sydney Sweeney's style continues to be all over the place. For example, she got a vintage Mugler for this small film festival, but... not a *good* vintage Mugler. Just because it's old, doesn't mean you should want to wander around looking like you're in the middle of a bridal shower scavenger hunt and you just checked off "staple a child's dust ruffle to your pelvis."

But then, of all the shockers, she grabbed a Monse that actually *is* good:

It's clever without being cockamamie, and it looks really cute on her. She is far outpacing the style of her companion, one Scooter Braun, a man whose name and misdeeds I know well but whose face I don't think I have ever actually looked at before. He looks... like a man who hopes Sydney's friendship with Lauren Sanchez will lead to a Bezos-like glow-up. Not that I think Bezos particularly *glows*, but he does look like a completely different person, and he probably would not wear boxy ankle-length chinos.
