Taraji won a Webby Award for using her platform for social advocacy -- things like LGBTQ+ rights, racial justice, pay equity, and in service of a foundation in her brother's name that promotes mental health awareness in the Black community. Too bad [the Webbys' own website mislabels her as a recipient of the *2024* Advocate of the Year](https://winners.webbyawards.com/2026/specialachievement/474/taraji-p-henson?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), but then again, who knows if they have copy editors anymore in this economy. Anyway, congrats to Taraji, and I love that she showed up for this event going every bit as hard sartorially as she would have for any other. The dress might be a bit Muppet-adjacent... but maybe that's why I also kind of like it? She'd make a GREAT band manager for the Electric Mayhem. Animal would never recover.
