Oh, Huck. Why do you have to seem so pleasant in real life, when I loathe you on "Scandal" with every fiber of my being? I am sincerely not sold on Bellamy Young's bangs, either; her whole outfit feels a bit like The Real Housewives of ABC Primetime For Kohl's. Kerry Washington looks freaking awesome in that Mary Katrantzou, and I love that outfit in EXACT inverse proportion to how much I hate Huck. And I don't think Katie Lowes is pulling off those pants, but damned if her head isn't looking amazing. Can I REALLY cut you, Scandal? Can I?

It makes me laugh that ever since The Great Cannes Flats Debacle of 2015, Viola Davis has been like, "Eff this, I'm wearing sneakers on red carpets ALL OVER TOWN."

Oh, how I love those shoes. Oh, how I wish I could liberate them, and her, from the madness around them.

I just wanted an excuse to gaze upon Kerry's dress again, so I picked a shot of Priyanka where they're standing together. Quantico does not look great to me, and I haven't been that impressed with her in the admittedly limited clips, BUT a) it's way too hard to judge, and I am the person who thought Finding Nemo looked bad based on the previews, so what do I know about anything; and b) ABC clearly thinks she's going to be the next big thing over here (she's already well-known in Bollywood). I hope that's true, because even though this frock isn't my favorite, she's gorgeous and am excited to see more of her because I like that she picks big colors. To wit...

Great. And her HAIR. Her hair is a religion unto itself.

Her character, among many others, was a big reason I gave up on Grey's -- I just COULD NOT with any of those newbies for one more second, and they weren't even still newbies at that point -- but she looks adorable here. The lipstick blouse might need to be in my house.

Again, I deeply appreciate the commitment to brightness, but that MIGHT be one hallucinatory step too far for my senses.

Those are NICE nude shoes, but I still don't really accept them here. Neon yellow would have been more fun.

Well, this jumpsuit is nonsense, and I wish I could redesign it as a maxi. Or even a midi, or whatever. But I LOVE the color on her -- is hot pink having a moment? -- and Regina King basically is a super cool customer.

I almost called her Kelli McCarty, who, as none of you probably know, was Crazy Beth on Passions (the one whose mother, played by the divine Kathleen Noone, was tended to by Precious the Orangutan Nurse Who Was In Love With Luis). Not the same person. This Kelli is on Grey's, which I did quit right before she joined and so sadly I've not seen her on it, and she is pulling off that jumpsuit in a way that makes me wish she would take Regina King shopping. Because if there are GOING TO be jumpsuits no matter what, let's make them good ones.

WHAT DID I JUST SAY, TYRA COLETTE? (Actually it's hard to TELL if that's a bad jumpsuit. It might be okay if it were on the person for whose height it's intended.)

WHAT DID I JUST SAYYYYY TIMES FOUR.

She looks cute. I don't know if I'm going to watch Wicked City, but I DEFINITELY had checked out of the various American Horror Story anthologies and I have not been watching Bates Motel, so I don't currently have any Farmiga in my life. Sniff.

So good. SO GOOD. (Except for the satin shoes, but I'm in a forgiving place.) She also kind of looks like Carrie Underwood here, no? I WISH Carrie Underwood ever looked this breezily chic.

I almost called HER "Janel Moloney," aka Donna from The West Wing. My fingers and my brain are not working in concert right now. I should sit down at the piano. God knows what would come out. Also, this is a big no. You're at TCAs, not End of Summer Pool Party In Las Vegas at Tao in The Venetian, Brought To You By A Brand of Vodka No One's Heard Of.

And this is the nighttime portion of said party, thrown at Tao, hosted by Kylie Jenner.

Sure, okay. She still never ages, she is classy, she has good lipstick, etc. Next.

I am not ready for Melrose mules again.

Love this on her. You know, when she changed her surname before going on Dancing With The Stars, AFTER being on the Disney Channel for ages, I was a bit like, "Okay, right. Who are you kidding?" But here we are, and I don't remember at all what her other name was. Congrats, Chelsea Kane. You win.

Well, I DEFINITELY like the shoes. Thanks a LOT, Constance. I don't need to buy any more shoes right now.

Oh, Tyra. You are everything and all of the things and so much and never enough. Your brand of excess delights me.

These two may already be spending too much time together. They have matching Advanced General Amusement faces. Chrissy also should've worn a real shirt.

This is stuck halfway between cute and frumpy, somehow. Is it that she needed a more interesting shoe, or is it her dubious expression?

Hang on, she's about to go on the beam for Romania; we'll wait.

We didn't see anyone from The Catch -- I know they recast the hell out of that pilot, but I thought at least we'd get Mireille Enos. Still, Shonda got to hold court, as the unofficial ruler of ABC, and I love the color SHE chose. I can't tell if this is actually good or not, but some TV critics tweeted that they loved it, so let's depart from my norm and ASSUME THE BEST.
