Vanessa Hudgens in Georges Chakra

So, apparently the Hudge here is going to be a judge on So You Think You Can Dance. I would NOT have thought of that pairing, but okay. In honor of that, she is clad as So You Think You Can Ice Dance.

Which must explain why it is so SHORT.

Adrianne Palicki

This feels like something Tricia Helfer would've worn on Battlestar Galactica, which is appropriate because she's about to show up in this slideshow.

But first, we get Adrianne in blue at her panel (for The Orville, a Seth MacFarlane parody of Star Trek that I hate to admit looked sort of funny). I love the zippy black (?) strap on her beige shoe. Or is it navy? It might be better if it was navy, because otherwise they feel a bit tangential here.

Tricia Helfer

And now, Tricia, who is on Lucifer. She and Adrianne Palicki could play relatives. Maybe they can do a demonic Lucifer-Orville crossover.

Halston Sage

I assume she stole this from someone who's sitting somewhere in a coat closet, gagged and naked.

Amber Stevens West

Man, slip dresses are really having a surge. I'm not sure I am on board with it.

Stephanie Beatriz

This ALSO has a dated musk to it, doesn't it? She looks fetching in it, but I can close my eyes and imagine what that fabric feels like, and it takes me back to a LOT of mall dressing rooms.

Emma Dumont

One of the critics referred to her as Lifetime Bunhead Emma Dumont, or somesuch, and it's true: Despite not liking that show, I WILL always associate her with it. Which, even WITH my dislike of most of that show, is a better association than with this dress.

Tom Welling, Lauren German

Hey, look, it's TV's second-most-recent Clark Kent! I gather he's going to be on Lucifer alongside Lauren here. I wish she had put those red sunglasses on, because the outfit feels like it needs that campy shove.

Jordana Brewster, Johnathan Fernandez, Keesha Sharp

Everyone here looks great. They're all on Lethal Weapon. Last I checked in with that show, all Jordana does is look concerned for Riggs (and that's fair, because he almost always needs a power shower), so... I assume either she'll end up dating him soon, or she'll get super bored, or she'll have to become a cop all of a sudden.

Adam Scott

Ah, delightful sir, I miss you and Leslie Knope. Sadly your new show does not look very good.

Jamie Chung

She is pulling off that froth very well.

"The Gifted" panel

I very much wish they'd had her stand up so we could see if these are leather overalls. Can ANYONE pull those off? Signs point to no. (Emma Dumont over there looks great, though. She shouldn't have changed.)

Jussie Smollett, Terrence Howard, Taraji

I wonder if T and T Music Factory coordinated what they wanted to wear.

Sophia Black-D'Elia

She's on The Mick, and if she's not wearing this at a swinger party on her own lanai, I think she should shorten it to knee length.

Kaitlin Olson

And she IS The Mick. I am not an It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia person, and The Mick hasn't really been for me either, but she looks nice.

Andre Braugher and Andy Samberg

MY FAVORITE TV COUPLE. I miss you.

TCAs Are Still Happening and It's FOX's Turn

I always enjoy TV Critics Twitter from this week, because commingled with the tidbits from all of the panels is a real sense of fatigue at just how LONG this dog-and-pony show lasts now in the age of Peak TV. Housekeeping note: I was having problems with this post last night. Pictures were showing up all colorfully pixelated again, and at random. If that happens, know that our tech people have been notified and are working on sorting out the glitch. We'll re-upload any affected images when we can! [Photos: Getty, Backgrid, WENN]
