## Cara Delevingne in Philosophy

Cara is in Amazon's Carnival Row, which apparently already got a second season, and is described thusly on Wikipedia: "mythical creatures who have fled their war-torn homeland and gathered in the city as tensions are simmering between citizens and the growing immigrant population. At the center of the drama is the investigation into a string of unsolved murders, which are eating away at whatever uneasy peace still exists." So... not a comedy, unlike her pants.

## Cara and Orlando Bloom

Her pants might actually be a tragedy. And Orlando looks like a nightclub owner in the late 80s.

MBJ, you are a delight, but that sweater is a hilarious no. It looks like the menswear version of a nun's clothes.

## Judith Light

I call this, "Judith Light Has No Patience For Your Shenanigans," and I can only hope to achieve this face with my children.

## Mary J. Blige

Mary J. is fronting the new spinoff of Power. I could SWEAR she once told us there'd be no more drama, AND YET.

## Cristin Milioti

Cristin is on *Modern Love*, the anthology show. She looks nice, but what you can't really see is that her shoes are secretly mary janes, with a thick, transparent plastic strap.

## Brenda Song

![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2019/07/shutterstock_10348152j-1564349303.jpg)

I didn't recognize her at first (she's an ex-Disney starlet who did some *Station 19* episodes in season one, among other things). That dress is SO CUTE. I am wholly on board.

## Kat Dennings, Brenda Song, Shay Mitchell

Dollface is about a woman who tries to win back the friends she lost during a long relationship, per IMDb. Kat Dennings may wish she'd road-tested that slit before the panel. Shay Mitchell looks fabulous. She's pregnant, too, which is exciting.

## Charlie Plummer

I guess at the end of the day, I think it's creepy to wear a shirt that essentially tears open Marilyn Monroe's -- or any woman's -- face.

## Kristine Froseth

Kristine and Charlie are in *Looking for Alaska*, based on the John Green book. She looks very cool in this.

## Nathalie Emmanuel

And Missandei here is in Mindy's *Four Weddings and a Funeral*. I think... you know I am not into bra shirts, but I could have lived more easily with this if she ditched the rope belt.

I found a picture that showed the shoes, so TA-DA, they are... sort of manure-colored?

These two definitely look believably like father and son.

So, my original caption made a Supernatural reference...... which is totally wrong, and it's because Eric Winter and Jensen Ackles were both on DAYS as hunky blonde dudes at around the same time, and consequently I always mix them up even though they don't look alike. WHOOPS. Anyway, enjoy these two people, who are attractive and married to each other.

## Diane Ladd

It tracks for me that Laura Dern's mother would have a handle on wearing a dramatic gold caftanic situation.

Nicely done! And perfectly Hallmark. I can already see her in an Easter movie about love and forgiveness. And maybe a little light murder.

She is always a party. And a very burnished one

She also looks ritzy. But somehow still daytime-ritzy, if that makes sense.

Calm and collected and chic.

Hallmark really is a place where people of my generation can go to find the stars of their (relative) youth.

Between this and what she wore to the OITNB premiere, she is REALLY feeling slits right now. This is a gorgeous dress, though. But perhaps a bit much for Hallmark. Perhaps she cares enough to wear her very best.

[IT'S CALLED A NAP, SUSAN LUCCI](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-ZdITfqtTY&ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). \[Also, fun fact, the blonde in this ad is none other than *Love Island* host Arielle Vandenberg. She is arguably the weak link in both operations -- and yes, BOTH HAVE STRONG LINKS, *Love Island* is kind of amazing -- but I am happy for her success, especially after all that amneeeeeeesia.\]
