(Photo by Ron Galella, Ltd./Ron Galella Collection via Getty Images) This innocent babychild. Okay, in fairness, she was a 20-year old woman, but compared to NOW doesn't she seem embryonic? We know too much. WE KNOW THINGS, YOUNG KATIE. Spoiler: Hug your dad a bunch. ## Molly Ringwald and Katie Holmes ![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2021/08/gettyimages-148950768-1629419193.jpg) WESTWOOD, CA - AUGUST 11: Actress Molly Ringwald and actress Katie Holmes attend the "Teaching Mrs. Tingle" Westwood Premiere on August 11, 1999 at the Mann Bruin Theatre in Westwood, California. (Photo by Ron Galella, Ltd./Ron Galella Collection via Getty Images) Molly looks like she's at a work event for which she forgot to go shopping. Katie kind of looks like she's at the funeral for an elderly relative to whom she was not close. ## Helen Mirren ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/08/GettyImages-104798167-1629419151.jpg) Helen Mirren during "Teaching Mrs.Tingle" Los Angeles Premiere at Mann Bruin Theatre in Westwood, California, United States. (Photo by SGranitz/WireImage) FUN FACT this is not Helen's only shared credit with Katie. They were both in a 2015 movie called [Woman in Gold](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2404425/?ref%5F=adv%5Fli%5Ftt&ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). I wonder if Helen sat Katie down and gave her any sage career advice, and how much of it Katie took. I wish Helen had said, "Don't marry a couch-jumping yobbo." ## Jessica Biel ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/08/GettyImages-75310913-1629419142.jpg) Jessica Biel (Photo by Jim Smeal/Ron Galella Collection via Getty Images) I hope she kept this! Navels are BACK!!!!! (Jessica, if you're listening and you kept this, those are NOT the supportive kind of exclamation marks.) ## Rebecca Gayheart ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/08/GettyImages-105853763-1629419158.jpg) Rebecca Gayheart during "Teaching Mrs.Tingle" Los Angeles Premiere at Mann Bruin Theatre in Westwood, California, United States. (Photo by Ron Galella/Ron Galella Collection via Getty Images) Honestly, well done, Rebecca. It's HARD to have a throwback photo that has NOTHING cringey in it, and yet! (That IS a supportive exclamation mark.) ## Lesley Ann Warren ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/08/GettyImages-85426929-1629419243.jpg) Lesley Ann Warren (Photo by Ron Galella/Ron Galella Collection via Getty Images) I am not sure this jacket looks super fully closed. I am also not sure about MEGASLEEVE. ## Eddie Mills ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/08/GettyImages-156099416-1629419212.jpg) Actor Eddie Mills attends the 'Teaching Mrs. Tingle' Westwood Premiere on August 11, 1999 at Mann Bruin Theatre in Westwood, California. (Photo by Ron Galella, Ltd./Ron Galella Collection via Getty Images) Eddie here: a) did four episodes of Dawson's Creek, b) was a regular in Wasteland, which was Williamson's followup drama I believe, and c) is not Josh Hartnett, which I was hard-pressed to believe for a second. ## Brad Rowe ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/08/GettyImages-139917619-1629419235.jpg) Brad Rowe at the Premiere of 'Teaching Mrs. Tingle', Mann Bruin Theatre, Westwood. (Photo by Ron Galella/Ron Galella Collection via Getty Images) And Brad Rowe got a lot of Brad Pitt comparisons back in the day, but the visual is as far as it went. ## Barry Watson ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/08/GettyImages-159970887-1629419203.jpg) WESTWOOD, CA - AUGUST 11: Actor Barry Watson attends the "Teaching Mrs. Tingle" Westwood Premiere on August 11, 1999 at the Mann Bruin Theatre in Westwood, California. (Photo by Ron Galella, Ltd./Ron Galella Collection via Getty Images) You know, men weren't all trying this hard in 1999, so way to go, Barry. You did it. ## Adrien Brody ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/08/GettyImages-115352507-1629419167.jpg) Adrien Brody during "Teaching Mrs.Tingle" Los Angeles Premiere at Mann Bruin Theatre in Westwood, California, United States. (Photo by Jim Smeal/Ron Galella Collection via Getty Images) What was that I just said about men not trying that hard in 1999? Well, he's trying hard, actually. Just not in the way that I meant. ## Seann William Scott ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/08/GettyImages-115384035-1629419175.jpg) Seann William Scott during "Teaching Mrs.Tingle" Los Angeles Premiere at Mann Bruin Theatre in Westwood, California, United States. (Photo by Jim Smeal/Ron Galella Collection via Getty Images) We have now entered the chiseled portion of this slideshow. ## Jason Behr ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/08/GettyImages-457061559-1629419219.jpg) WESTWOOD, CA - AUGUST 11: Actor Jason Behr attends the "Teaching Mrs. Tingle" Westwood Premiere on August 11, 1999 at the Mann Bruin Theatre in Westwood, California. (Photo by Ron Galella, Ltd./Ron Galella Collection via Getty Images) CHISELED. ## James Marsters ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/08/GettyImages-162249964-1629419227.jpg) WESTWOOD, CA - AUGUST 11: James Marsters attends the premiere of "Teaching Mrs. Tingle" on August 11, 1999 at Mann Bruin Theater in Westwood, California. (Photo by Ron Galella, Ltd./Ron Galella Collection via Getty Images) Could slice bread. ## Simon Rex ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/08/GettyImages-104798170-1629419252.jpg) Simon Rex & Michelle Cruz during "Teaching Mrs.Tingle" Los Angeles Premiere at Mann Bruin Theatre in Westwood, California, United States. (Photo by SGranitz/WireImage) I'd like to chisel that OUTFIT, Simon.
