LOOK AT HIM. This show did such a super job casting -- when he is on screen with Sam (Toheeb Jimoh), it's like, I DARE you not to smile and also want to hug them both. And bring him a tulip. Just one.

It's not that Jason doesn't look nice. He does. But there is a sameyness to his efforts these days, and I am a little bored of the Adam Sandler of it all -- which I know was a controversial stance the last time we featured Adam Sandler. Comfort is important, and I'm sure it's an EXPENSIVE hoodie, and I am not mad at it. But, maybe... just like in the next couple appearances, it'd be cool to deploy a smart-casual option or two that doesn't have a hood or a drawstring? Just to show it can be done?

I appreciate this attempt, but that one button doesn't look SUPER thrilled to be doing its job today.

it's Precarious Button Day on Ted Lasso. Good to see James's hair is back to its regular glorious self. He did, however, steal my college roommate's Reverse Fit Gap khakis from 1996.

And here are Trent Crimm and Colin, a delightful TV pairing. Colin's shirt seems to fit better than Brett Goldstein's did, but maybe doesn't go as well with his pants? But! Efforts.

THIS munchkin seems to have gotten that cardi from his grandparents in Florida.

I was looking up whether Jeremy actually plays the double bass -- he does! -- and found out that his real-life wife also plays Higgins's wife. AND he sings and is recording new music right now. Delightful.

Aha, it's our French wine expert on the team! Every club's gotta have one. He's so cute and looks very spiff.

I ALWAYS welcome giving her more to do. She's carrying the torch here for the female cast members, and looking like an absolute badass while doing it.

I believe Yvette was the moderator, which she has been many times for this crew. LUCKY. I like her pants. This all works, actually; just perhaps needs a pointier shoe that can announce itself.
