# Teen Choice Awards Fug-or-Fab Carpet: Pacey

Yesterday, we got an e-mail from a reader begging for a spirit-boosting Monday morning dose of Pacey at the Teen Choice Awards, just because. Unfortunately I didn't get the e-mail until it was too late, so here's hoping this gives her a pleasant Tuesday jolt:

Oh, Pacey. I know we rag on a lot of actors for not bothering to shave for an event, but I also know half of them are in the middle of working and can't raze the face for continuity reasons, so let's just assume Pacey's facial fringe is for *Fringe* and move onto the matter of his wardrobe. I love how comfortable yet dressed-up he looks, but I also can't escape the notion that he's only really dressed from the waist up -- like how on *Gossip Girl* set photos, you'll see the actresses running around in high-fashion gowns and Ugg boots, because they don't want to wear their sky-high heels unless it's a full-body shot. Or how I have long suspected that sometimes newscasters don't bother wearing pants, or do it in PJ pants or something (new t-shirt: Newscasters Do It In Flannel), because they're behind a desk all day. I don't know. There's an almost-but-not-quite quality to it.And let's address what's under the jacket:

How do we feel about the checked shirt with the knit stripey tie? Shaggably offbeat and cool, or Shaggable Mathlete Makes Two And Two Equal Five? I guess either way, on the Shaggable Scale, Pacey wins.
