Christopher John Rogers is having a great Venice Film Festival and it's VERY exciting to see. Tessa Thompson and Jodie Turner-Smith are both being styled by Wayman + Micach, who had a very productive outing to CJR's studio recently, clearly! This is fun; "fun" is also what I called it the first time I saw it. (That resort line is tremendously red carpet ready.)

My issue here is that the large blazer makes it VERY hard to tell that her top is actually a giant bow. Which is pleasantly whimsical. (This iteration of Venice has been sartorially really fun.)

They are likely intended to sort of cut the froof here -- and they ARE the shoes that Marc Jacobs showed on the runway, so it's definitely the designer vision. In practice, they feel a little bit too clompy for me.
