Matthew Goode looks SO YOUNG here! (I mean...it was 17 years ago.) His date's dress feels VERY much like a Nanette Lepore/Temperley joint. (I like it!)

It's not a premiere from 2004 unless someone has used a belt for reasons other than to hold up their pants! This is a very early aughts styling choice. (I remember her from Reba, on which I always really liked her and her fantastic hair. She was very open about her eating disorder, and subsequent recovery, the year after this, and has retired from acting but seems like she's doing very well!)
