The year before? (Time is truly meaningless -- but you know. Sometime in recent memory but while we were all just about to be locked in our homes.) I don't love the split hem on their trousers because they remind me of yoga pants but by and large, they look very dashing. ## Bobby Brown and Alicia Etheredge ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/11/shutterstock_editorial_12612664cb-1637552872.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by AFF-USA/Shutterstock (12612664cb) Bobby Brown and Alicia Etheredge American Music Awards, Arrivals, Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles , California, USA - 21 Nov 2021 As far as I could tell, Bobby Brown is the only member of New Edition who walked the pre-show red carpet. He looks a bit like a fancy race car driver. Alicia looks perfect for this event and her lipstick is GREAT. ## New Edition ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/11/shutterstock_editorial_12612438r-1637554278-scaled.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Rob Latour/Shutterstock (12612438r) New Edition - Ronnie DeVoe, Ralph Tresvant, Johnny Gill, Michael Bivins, Bobby Brown, Ricky Bell American Music Awards, Press Room, Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, USA - 21 Nov 2021 Here's New Edition from the press room -- they performed together in the show; as you can see, Bobby changed for the performance. I think they look very dapper. I also just looked up the various permutations of this group (I couldn't remember when Bobby Brown left) and learned the following: "In 2008, the group, minus Brown, recorded a new song with New Kids on the Block called "Full Service" for their latest album, The Block. " I hope NKOTB releases a variety of albums named after various bits of their names and they eventually get to one just called "On." ## NKOTB ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/11/shutterstock_editorial_12612664a-1637552846-scaled.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by AFF-USA/Shutterstock (12612664a) New Kids On The Block American Music Awards, Arrivals, Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles , California, USA - 21 Nov 2021 Speaking of, this photo makes me feel ELDERLY and I bid you farewell as I shall now walk into the sea. ## Joey Fatone and Drew Lachey ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/11/shutterstock_editorial_12612436ol-1637552811.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Rob Latour/Shutterstock (12612436ol) Joey Fatone and Drew Lachey American Music Awards, Arrivals, Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, USA - 21 Nov 2021 "Hello! Our respective boy bands would not agree to come out with us tonight so we are hanging out together! You can call us 98SYNC. Or maybe \*NDegrees? We're workshopping it!" ## Why Don't We ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/11/shutterstock_editorial_12612562bh-1637552821-scaled.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP/Shutterstock (12612562bh) Daniel Seavey, from left, Jack Avery, Jonah Marais, Zach Herron and Corbyn Besson arrive at the American Music Awards, at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles 2021 American Music Awards - Arrivals, Los Angeles, United States - 21 Nov 2021 Continuing my SPIRAL TO THE GRAVE, I haven't even heard of this boy band! But I learned two things from their Wikipedia: (a) This quote is alarming: "The band originally formed on September 27, 2016, after having all were forced to meet in Los Angeles, California, a year prior." WHO FORCED THEM? and (b) "In 2021, the band and their manager Randy Phillips filed a lawsuit against their other band manager David Loeffler. The band then petitioned the California Labor Commission to throw out its contract with Loeffler and management company Signature Entertainment" and [it sounds like this entire experience was TERRIBLE?!?!?!?!](https://twitter.com/whydontwemusic/status/1436003117124841476?ref%5Fsrc=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1436003117124841476%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1%5F&ref%5Furl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.billboard.com%2Fpro%2Fwhy-dont-we-petition-drop-manager%2F&ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) So I feel safe in noting that perhaps these young men have had a bumpy road. Hang in there, kids, you all look nice! ## AJR Brothers ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/11/shutterstock_editorial_12612564h-1637552836.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP/Shutterstock (12612564h) Adam Brett Met, from left, Jack Met and Ryan Met of AJR arrive at the American Music Awards, at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles 2021 American Music Awards - Arrivals, Los Angeles, United States - 21 Nov 2021 I am not familiar with this band EITHER due to my being an aged crone slowly turning to sand but [their Wiki is considerably less stressful](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AJR%5F%28band%29?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).
