(She lost to Amy Winehouse.) The skirt is actually quite pretty; it's the top that's providing the twee. ## 2009 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/03/shutterstock_editorial_847967u-1615436404.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Shutterstock (847967u) Taylor Swift 51st Annual Grammy Awards, arrivals, the Staples Center, Los Angeles, America - 08 Feb 2009 A year later, it evolved into something a bit more sophisticated. ## 2010 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/03/shutterstock_editorial_9734086a-1615436412.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Mediapunch/Shutterstock (9734086a) Taylor Swift at the 52nd Grammy Awards Staples Center Los Angeles Ca Usa January 31 2010 United States Los Angeles 52nd Grammy Awards -- Arrivals This year, she won four Grammys related to hear album Fearless, in a true bombshell dress. ## 2012 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/03/shutterstock_editorial_1601693gt-1615436420.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Picture Perfect/Shutterstock (1601693gt) Taylor Swift 54th Annual Grammy Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, America - 12 Feb 2012 Two more Grammys for stuff from Speak Now. But she looked good. This is around the time she became friends with Karlie Kloss, I think? The more fashion-y vibe might reflect that (as well as just growing up and having big stylist money). ## 2014 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/03/shutterstock_editorial_7950301bt-1615436437.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Michael Nelson/EPA/Shutterstock (7950301bt) Us Singer Taylor Swift Arrives For the 56th Annual Grammy Awards Held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles California Usa 26 January 2014 United States Los Angeles Usa Grammy Awards 2014 - Jan 2014 She was ALSO blanked for Red this year. (This was "Shake It Off" and she didn't win this year either.) ## 2016 in Versace ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/03/shutterstock_editorial_5587162dk-1615436455.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Broadimage/Shutterstock (5587162dk) Taylor Swift 58th Annual Grammy Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, America - 15 Feb 2016 2016 Grammy Awards WEARING ATELIER VERSACE This felt like a knockoff attempt at the previous year's magic.
