The 2024 Women in Film Gala

Kate Winslet and Jane Fonda

Obviously, I bought this photo because I thought it was cute.

Kate Winslet

I know this is the style, but I feel this suit looks a bit TOO oversized on her. I also think it looks like wallpaper, which is usually a compliment from me but it might not be here? These separates actually might work better...separately.

Lili Reinhart

Admittedly, her shoes might be a little boring but overall, she looks just great here.

Nava Mau

As does she! In a very VERY similar look.

Jurnee Smollett

As a PSA: These are not cigarette pants, which was probably the right call? She is, as usual, very pretty.

Quinta Brunson and Kerry Washington

These looks are also good! I don't know what to tell you! This was mostly a successful event! (I do think the white shoes on Quinta perhaps should have been metallic?)

Joey King

I like her with this Young Powerful Studio Exec vibe.

Janelle James

I also like HER with the Young Powerful Studio Exec vibe.

Ari Graynor

I'm sure this is Max Mara -- which sponsors this event -- but I also think THIS blazer is a little too oversized. Having said that, I was JUST wondering what she'd gotten up to; this is how you know I haven't been watching the Ryan Murphy Menendez Brothers series, because she has a large part. Good for her!!

Jackie Tohn

Honestly? I like this on her a lot. HOWEVER it is also a ridiculous amalgamation of items.

Marion Cotillard

I assume she's wearing Chanel, as she is their spokesperson, and this is a totally cromulent Chanel, congrats to Marion.

Storm Reid

That skirt is just LONGING to be a cargo skirt.

Sharon Lawrence

Meanwhile, Sharon Lawrence looks like she's freshly back from the White Lotus and I LOVE THAT FOR HER.
