Before Covid, the annual Serpentine Party -- the opening summer bash for London's iconic Serpentine Gallery -- used to be A BIG DEAL. [PILES of celebrities and models showed up and showed out.](https://www.gofugyourself.com/tag/serpentine-party?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) Over the years, s*omeone* turned down the temperature -- sadly not literally yesterday; it was 93 degrees in London -- on this thing, presumably because it was beginning to feel too Hollywood for what is basically a British art party. And yet! People still wore things. I'd argue....someone needs to turn the metaphorical temperature up on this event again because some of this is lacklustre.
