The Cams

So, from left to right -- oldest to youngest -- we have George, Charlotte, and our newest addition Louis. They obviously look very much alike; it'll be so cool to see how they differentiate as they get older (Charlotte, for example, looks less like George now than she did here).

I would also be remiss in not giving you a thorough examination of Kate's post-baby blowouts. It's important to note that, as we all compliment how freaking pulled-together Kate is about a minute after heaving out a human, we are not implying that anyone else should attempt this or hold themselves to this standard. Kate has a very weird job, and part of that is giving each of her spawn a Lion King moment, for which she is expected to be pristine and primped whether she wants to be or not. I bet she envies all us regular people our stringy hair and sweatpants, and for SURE I'd rather be be me than her in this moment. But she deserves kudos for accepting this strange situation with grace and a smile each and every damn time.

With George

LONDON, ENGLAND - JULY 23: Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, depart The Lindo Wing with their newborn son at St Mary's Hospital on July 23, 2013 in London, England. The Duchess of Cambridge yesterday gave birth to a boy at 16.24 BST and weighing 8lb 6oz, with Prince William at her side. The baby, as yet unnamed, is third in line to the throne and becomes the Prince of Cambridge. (Photo by Scott Heavey/Getty Images)

Someone noted that Kate always gets a timely gust of wind when she emerges, and this shot from George's birth backs that up. Whoever designed the Lindo Wing door to be facing in a favorable wind direction should be knighted.

With Charlotte

It was a BIT more still when Charlotte came. I love that we've gotten all the primary colors, too, in post-baby outfits. I am not going to say the words "the next baby" this soon but I feel like green woud be cute someday.

WIND!

* ROYAL COUPLE LEAVES LONDON HOSPITAL WITH BABY SON New parents PRINCE WILLIAM and CATHERINE, DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE left hospital with their new bundle of joy on Tuesday evening (23Jul13), a day after the royal baby arrived at London's St. Mary's Hospital. The royal couple greeted fans and the media on the steps of the Paddington hospital. William smiled and waved as his beaming wife cradled their child in her arms. She then handed the baby boy to her husband and the pair stepped out into the street to speak to reporters. Prince William said, "He's got a good pair of lungs on him, that's for sure. He's a big boy, he's quite heavy and we're still waiting on a name; we'll have that soon." William and Catherine left the hospital hours after her parents had visited the new mum. Catherine's mother, Carole Middleton, told reporters gathered outside St. Mary's that the royal baby is "absolutely beautiful", and added that both her daughter and her grandson were doing "really well". With his son in his arms, Prince William told the media that he and his wife are "very emotional" and the Duchess added, "It's a special time". The royals headed back into the hospital to collect their things and emerged minutes later to head home, with Prince William jumping behind the wheel of their car. I had forgotten that Kate's hair stylist went rather more straight with George. I also love this photo. Kate's like, "I love my baby but this is the first time I haven't been carrying him in some form in NINE MONTHS," and William is like, "Steady... steady... STEADY..."
