(Photo by Carlos Alvarez/Getty Images) So, the vast majority of this slideshow is more recent than this, mostly because her dresses have improved greatly over the last three or four years -- there is a reason that I always joke that Letizia likes to dress like a deputy district attorney -- but I thought you might want to see this pic from their "official engagement ceremony." I kinda love her suit! Felipe looks like a BABY. ## May 2004 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/07/50886324-1499733579.jpg) MADRID, SPAIN - MAY 22: Spanish Crown Prince Felipe de Bourbon and his bride Letizia look at each other as the Royal couple appear on the balcony of Royal Palace May 22, 2004 in Madrid. (Photo by Ian Waldie/Getty Images) This photo always touches my cold dead heart. They're so EXCITED to be married. It's so sweet. Yay for love. ## January, 2006 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/07/GettyImages-56592931-1499738722.jpg) MADRID, SPAIN - JANUARY 14: Princess Letizia, Prince Felipe and Princess Leonor attend the Christening of Princess Leonor, at the Royal Palace on January 14, 2006 in Madrid, Spain. Princess Letizia gave birth to Leonor, her first child, several weeks early by Caesarean section at the Ruber International clinic on October 31, 2005\. (Photo by Angel Diaz-POOL/Getty Images) Royal babies!!! (This is Leonor.) People have also pointed out that Letizia has had a nose job at some point over the years, and you can tell once you flip through this slideshow. It was a very well-done procedure. ## November, 2007 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/07/GettyImages-78095144-1499738734.jpg) MADRID, SPAIN - NOVEMBER 26: Crown Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia of Spain attend the Royal Gala Dinner in honour of Rumanian President Traian Basescu and his wife at the Royal Palace on November 26, 2007 in Madrid, Spain (Photo by Carlos Alvarez/Getty Images) This is not the best dress she's ever worn. ## January 2008 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/07/GettyImages-84295823_master-1499733513.jpg) MADRID, SPAIN - JANUARY 15: Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia of Spain attend the annual Foreign Ambassadors Reception, at The Royal Palace on January 15, 2008 in Madrid, Spain. (Photo by Carlos Alvarez/Getty Images) Nor this one. ## April 2009 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/07/GettyImages-86096175_master-1499733524.jpg) MADRID, SPAIN - APRIL 21: Crown Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia of Spain attend a Gala Dinner honouring Indian President Pratibha Devisingh Patil at The Royal Palace on April 21, 2009 in Madrid, Spain. (Photo by Carlos Alvarez/Getty Images) Or this one, although that tiara is nice. ## January 2010 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/07/GettyImages-95768862_master-1499733534.jpg) MADRID, SPAIN - JANUARY 14: Prince Felipe of Spain and Princess Letizia of Spain attend the annual Foreign Ambassadors Reception, at The Royal Palace on January 14, 2010 in Madrid, Spain. (Photo by Carlos Alvarez/Getty Images) This...is hideous. It's like Business Formal. ## January 2011 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/07/GettyImages-108108637_master-1499733546.jpg) MADRID, SPAIN - JANUARY 18: Prince Felipe of Spain and Princess Letizia of Spain attend the annual Foreign Ambassadors Reception, at The Royal Palace on January 18, 2011 in Madrid, Spain. (Photo by Carlos Alvarez/Getty Images) I KNOW YOU LOVE A BLAZER BUT GET A GRIP. ## April 2011 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/07/GettyImages-113264704-1499739414.jpg) LONDON, ENGLAND - APRIL 29: Queen Sofia of Spain, Prince Felipe of Asturias and Princess Letizia of Asturias arrive to attend the Royal Wedding of Prince William to Catherine Middleton at Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011 in London, England. The marriage of the second in line to the British throne is to be led by the Archbishop of Canterbury and will be attended by 1900 guests, including foreign Royal family members and heads of state. Thousands of well-wishers from around the world have also flocked to London to witness the spectacle and pageantry of the Royal Wedding. (Photo by Chris Jackson/Getty Images) This was at Wills and Kate's wedding and she looks so BORING compared to how dashing Felipe looks in his uniform. VERY appropriate but kind of a ZZZZzzzzz. ## April 2013 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/07/167757073_10-1499733590.jpg) AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - APRIL 29: Princess Letizia of Spain and Prince Felipe of Spain attend a dinner hosted by Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands ahead of her abdication in favour of Crown Prince Willem Alexander at Rijksmuseum on April 29, 2013 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. (Photo by Michel Porro/Getty Images) There we go! This feels like Classic Letizia to me -- it's the tiara I mentioned, plus she loves a Basic Black Dress. (This was the dinner prior to King Willem-Alexander's inauguration as King, so everyone was really ready to party.) (Don't ask me why they call it an inauguration in the Netherlands, I'm just quoting Informative Caption.) ## April 2013 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/07/167797130_10-1499733604.jpg) AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - APRIL 30: Princess Letizia of Spain and Prince Felipe of Spain depart the Nieuwe Kerk to return to the Royal Palace after the abdication of Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands and the Inauguration of King Willem Alexander of the Netherlands on April 30, 2013 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
