This is very flattering and pleasingly simple on her; she, along with Tracee Ellis Ross, Lena Waithe, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Angela Robinson and Laverne Cox had a moment about #TimesUp during the ceremony. They did not all wear black, but I suspect that is why Kerry did.

I apologize for her thousand-yard stare here; maybe she's thinking about how sad the Smolletts story arc will be on Westworld? I'm mostly thinking about how is TRULY is a vampire who does not age. (Her Wikipedia says she's 38, but I actually think that's shaved a few years off. Not that it matters. She looks eternally 24. If they were to reboot Buffy, and she could somehow reappear as Kendra, I feel like they would have to make her an actual vampire in order for it to be believable. Also, now I think they should do that.)
