I truly do not understand what even happened here or what this dress is doing, or what the thought process was or honestly anything. (The black part is the same fabric used for her black dress at the BAFTAs, but I can't find any info about whether it's LITERALLY her BAFTAs gown remade, or just...from the same bolt? REGARDLESS, if you're gonna do that, just give this thing a black column skirt. Or pants! Imagine this top with black cigarette pants!)

Whereas this is just perplexing to me! She is often so very glam -- and is obviously very gorgeous regardless -- and this is weirdly stuffy and dated and like something you'd see in the background on an episode of Dynasty where they go to a charity ball and then someone falls down a well. (It went down the runway with a GIANT BELT and I think this misses that.)
