This is just extremely doofy, I am sorry. She is charming and her natural charisma takes this way farther than other people might go with it, but it's such a wild choice for the Oscars. It looks so unwieldy. It would also look much better if it didn't match the carpet. She sort of looks like she's raising from a sea of beige.

This is also gorgeous -- but, surprisingly, this is also not the first time we've seen this dress on the red carpet. Ivy-Victoria Maurice looked gorgeous in it for the NAACP Image Awards. It is VERY surprising to see a major celeb in a big deal label like this on the red carpet for the Oscars in a dress that someone else has already worn. Having said that, this is absolutely pretty enough to see twice.
