It took me a while to realize that's not his neckline, but his hands curling up and gripping... something. I am not familiar enough with Marvel's canon to know what it would be. I DO wish Chadwick Boseman got to stare right at us, but I'm getting a good sense of angst from this shot.

It's interesting to me whose faces they showed and whose they didn't. Here, I wonder if it's because Chadwick isn't as much of a household face yet, whereas Daniel, people might recognize from his breakout role in Get Out. Promotions for which featured a LOT of closeups.

The synergy of the x-shape on her dress and the one she's making with her arms is intriguing, but also, that kind of pose on a tightly cropped poster always fries my brain. The longer I look at it, the more it feels like some other random person's two arms being repositioned and scooted into the shot. I don't think it IS, but seriously, stare at it for a while and shit starts to get weird. However, her face is great as ever. Are her eyes quite connecting?

I also always want to see more of Angela Bassett's face, but that profile shot of her is stellar, and clearly identifiable as her because we all have her awesomeness burned onto our brains. So it works.

I assume Zuri's story is about how he suffers from the WORST heartburn but he still refuses to stop eating dairy.

This one is among the best. She's staring daggers into us all.

Whereas SHE is just staring INTO daggers. (SO MANY of these people are not looking at the camera. I would love to have been a fly on the wall when this was decided.)

This makes me long for a more diverse Game of Thrones.

That mannequin hand is creepy as all get-out, and this poster has no shortage of Gollum's menace.

I think the marketing people have SEVERELY underestimated how much we want to see Michael B. Jordan's face. LOOK UP MICHAEL.
