[In today's free Drinks With Broads](https://drinkswithbroads.substack.com/p/we-cannesnot-believe-the-new-cannes), we wrote about the new Cannes rule barring nudity or overlarge trains on the red carpet; it may surprise you that, as much as sheers are crazy, my stance is essentially that I think it's even crazier for Cannes to change itself. It's CANNES. That's part of the brand, that's part of what makes it a spectacle. Whatever about the nipples, but the giant trains?!? With THOSE stairs? MY DUDES. Don't take away my heaven. At least Juliette Binoche's wardrobe is likely unaffected, but does Halle Berry even HAVE much stuff that isn't sheer in a way that would make Cannes newly clutch its pearls?
