I guess we ARE amused.

Okay, that pun out of the way: TO THE JUMPSUIT. I saw a lot of convo about this on Twitter last night and people seemed kind of unmoved by it? I don't actually hate it, but it feels a bit like a more casual jumpsuit that the folks at OdlR swiftly gussied up for the occasion with the knotted detailing and the long, trailing accent. I think it needs metallic shoes.

Claire Foy in Oscar de la Renta and Matt Smith

Matt Smith's pocket square is a dapper touch. They sort of look like a Liz and Phil who've been rapidly de-aged and zapped to the Emmys, and SHE is annoyed that she has to figure out to undo this magic, and he is ogling some busty starlet.

Claire might have resting I Regret This face.

Vanessa Kirby in Marchesa

She is stunning, but this might need a TINY tiny hoik.

Claire Foy in Erdem and Matt Smith

I read some article this weekend that implied these two are dating in real life, and I was like...does Claire Foy's husband know this? (The person who wrote the piece just didn't know what she was talking about. Foy is married and Matt Smith is still dating Lily James, as far as I know.) ANYWAY, Erdem seems like the right call for a BAFTAs outting, no? As for Smith, I think actual Prince Philip has this actual suit.

Vanessa Kirby

This is honestly a filmy nightie.

Vanessa Kirby

She is REALLY into neck-ties right now. This is...fine? I would have styled it with flat boots and leaned into the mod thing but NO ONE EVER ASKS.

This is less fine.

Claire Foy in Gucci

Claire's Gucci is very appealing --Gucci women's wear has been so charming lately; if I were a stylist, I would be pulling SO MANY of these little dresses for my clients - but the real winner here is Matt Smith's plaid suit.

John Lithgow and Mary Yeager

CONGRATS JOHN and his wife, UCLA history professor Mary Yeager, looks lovely. Go Bruins!
