It's funny, the knock on her first gold ensemble was that the makeup was too strong everywhere; she's swung all the way back to VERY low-key, and maybe even TOO minimal. I liked that frock better, as well, although this one is fine. She is probably trying to walk the line of being the hostess of the evening, but not the subject of it. George looks like George. SHOULD he start wearing bonnets? No, but would it be more fun for us? Yes.

What notes could I possibly have? I guess... that the particular color here could be described as Metallic Crocodile, but she is rocking it nonetheless.

Gaia looks like Cobie Smulders here, suddenly. I think this would have looked better as the back of the dress, but that makeup is beautiful and even matches her mother's shoes. And glasses. And her nails. This WAS a team effort, surely.

We need these two at Drinks With Broads someday.

That's very pretty. I wonder if the waist-tie was her own flourish.

This is a better version of something Scarlett Johansson is going to wear later today on the site, in terms of being a cleaner design. Sorry, ScarJo.

"I need a bib, but SEXY."

Oh, wow, it's been a minute since we've had a surly naked Emrata experience. We're BACK. The universe is healing.

Is there... a bow shape sitting on her pelvis? Maybe it's a Rorschach test. Do you see a bow, or an elephant's face.

This seems like a good event at which to wear your heart on your... heart.

That's a nice use of sheers: You get the effect without also feeling like an X-ray machine.

I would have liked this in a different fabric. And maybe a light pattern. So, a totally new suit entirely. But it's miles better than her usual!

Thank you for your polka-dots, Alex, even if they do look a bit like you got bored in kindergarten and started playing with the stamps.

This is appealingly... mossy.

Dreamy.

That cane is AMAZING. I can only aspire to this level of "Do not tangle with me" energy.
