What undoes Carrie sometimes is her posing -- she looks like she's rounding out her back and hunching forward slightly, or something. It's like she just binged about four seasons of ANTM and is trying to take way too much of Tyra's advice all at once. ## Danielle Bradbury ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/06/CMT-Awards-2018-red-carpet-gfy-2-1528354954.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by imageSPACE/REX/Shutterstock (9705049ah) Danielle Bradbery CMT Music Awards, Arrivals, Nashville, USA - 06 Jun 2018 Some people will attend the opening of an envelope; some attend dressed AS the envelope. ## Jennifer Nettles ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/06/CMT-Awards-2018-red-carpet-gfy-3-1528354964.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by imageSPACE/REX/Shutterstock (9705049am) Jennifer Nettles CMT Music Awards, Arrivals, Nashville, USA - 06 Jun 2018 Oh, good, a skirt with a built-in necktie! This is JUST the practical touch we need. ## Karen Fairchild ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/06/CMT-Awards-2018-red-carpet-gfy-9-1528355032.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by imageSPACE/REX/Shutterstock (9705049x) Karen Fairchild of musical group Little Big Town CMT Music Awards, Arrivals, Nashville, USA - 06 Jun 2018 This is the absolute last time the Tin Man gets to be ANYONE'S fairy godmother. But what we're really looking at here is... ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/06/CMT-Awards-2018-red-carpet-gfy-10-1528355043.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by imageSPACE/REX/Shutterstock (9705049y) Karen Fairchild, bag detail CMT Music Awards, Arrivals, Nashville, USA - 06 Jun 2018 ... her tiny guitar purse. That is adorable, but there's no way she can fit anything in there except maybe one lipstick and a very compact travel tampon. ## Kelly Clarkson ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/06/CMT-Awards-2018-red-carpet-gfy-5-1528354986.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by imageSPACE/REX/Shutterstock (9705049ci) Kelly Clarkson CMT Music Awards, Arrivals, Nashville, USA - 06 Jun 2018 SPEAKING OF ACCESSORIES. ## in Alex Perry ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/06/CMT-Awards-2018-red-carpet-gfy-7-1528355012.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by imageSPACE/REX/Shutterstock (9705049d) Kelly Clarkson CMT Music Awards, Arrivals, Nashville, USA - 06 Jun 2018 Kelly seems to be having a lot more fun with fashion lately, and I love it, but here I think the head-styling has gone WAY overboard and stomps on what's actually a very nice dress on her. ## Kaitlin Doubleday in Georges Chakra ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/06/wenn34353846-1528354918.jpg) 2018 CMT Music Awards Love from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN Featuring: Kaitlin Doubleday Where: Nashville, Tennessee, United States When: 06 Jun 2018 Credit: Judy Eddy/WENN.com Wow, I regret quitting *Nashville* \-- apparently one hell of a tornado ripped through her closet. ## Clare Bowen ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/06/wenn34353850-1528354930.jpg) 2018 CMT Music Awards Love from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN Featuring: Clare Bowen Where: Nashville, Tennessee, United States When: 06 Jun 2018 Credit: Judy Eddy/WENN.com That little bob without the hair extensions is all I ever wanted on Clare, and I'm so tickled. But I seriously thought her boots were jewel-encrusted long johns for a moment. They are... perhaps best work with a shorter skirt. ## Maisie and Lennon Stella ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/06/CMT-Awards-2018-red-carpet-gfy-6-1528355000.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by imageSPACE/REX/Shutterstock (9705049cp) Lennon Stella, Maisy Stella CMT Music Awards, Arrivals, Nashville, USA - 06 Jun 2018 I miss these ladies. Maisie looks darling. Lennon looks like she is about to get kicked out of Catholic school for uniform violations. ## Mickie James ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/06/wenn34353721-1528354886.jpg) 2018 CMT Music Awards Love from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN Featuring: Mickie James Where: Nashville, Tennessee, United States When: 06 Jun 2018 Credit: Judy Eddy/WENN.com Somehow this feels like the alpha and omega of the CMTs, and if Kellie Pickler were here, don't you think she'd be envious? ## Chrissy Metz ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/06/wenn34353733-1528356838.jpg) 2018 CMT Music Awards Love from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN Featuring: Chrissy Metz Where: Nashville, Tennessee, United States When: 06 Jun 2018 Credit: Judy Eddy/WENN.com Whereas this is very sedate and sensible -- not her best, but nowhere NEAR her worst. ## Grainger Smith ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/06/wenn34353808-1528354896.jpg) 2018 CMT Music Awards Love from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN Featuring: Grainger Smith Where: Nashville, Tennessee, United States When: 06 Jun 2018 Credit: Judy Eddy/WENN.com Oh, son. CAN WE JUST NOT. ## Cassadee Pope ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/06/CMT-Awards-2018-red-carpet-gfy-4-1528354975.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by imageSPACE/REX/Shutterstock (9705049ce) Cassadee Pope CMT Music Awards, Arrivals, Nashville, USA - 06 Jun 2018 By comparison, her bathmat of a skirt looks totally sensible. ## Garrett Hedlund ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/06/CMT-Awards-2018-red-carpet-gfy-8-1528355022.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by imageSPACE/REX/Shutterstock (9705049p) Garrett Hedlund CMT Music Awards, Arrivals, Nashville, USA - 06 Jun 2018 "Is any of this a thing? I don't know, you guys, it's been AGES since I was in [Country Strong](https://gofugyourself.com/fug-the-fromage-country-strong-06-2011?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)." ## Lindsey Vonn ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/06/CMT-Awards-2018-red-carpet-gfy-11-1528355055.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Debby Wong/REX/Shutterstock (9705196o) Lindsey Vonn CMT Music Awards, Arrivals, Nashville, USA - 06 Jun 2018 And of course, here comes Noted Country Superstar Lindsey Vonn. Although, for as overwrought as that bodice is, she also looks about the best I've seen her in a long time. ## with PK Subban ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/06/CMT-Awards-2018-red-carpet-gfy-12-1528355065.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Debby Wong/REX/Shutterstock (9705196u) P.K. Subban, Lindsey Vonn CMT Music Awards, Arrivals, Nashville, USA - 06 Jun 2018 She is dating Nashville hockey player PK Subban, who usually has a zazzier sense of style than this, but he looks great. ## Karen Fairchild ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/06/CMT-Awards-2018-red-carpet-gfy-13-1528355076.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Frank Micelotta/PictureGroup/REX/Shutterstock (9705219aa) Jimi Westbrook,Karen Fairchild CMT Music Awards, Show, Nashville, USA - 06 Jun 2018 Just so you know, Karen Fairchild of Little Big Town changed into a blouse made of disco packing material. ## Carrie Underwood ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2018/06/CMT-Awards-2018-red-carpet-gfy-14-1528355088.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Frank Micelotta/PictureGroup/REX/Shutterstock (9705219ay) Carrie Underwood CMT Music Awards, Show, Nashville, USA - 06 Jun 2018 And Carrie changed into a leotard that's weeping groin fringe, while singing a song about crying. She's so on-the-nose that she's pretty much crawled up inside it. [The CMTs Were Quite The Fashion ExperienceAs usual, and cheers to them for it.![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2018/06/cmt-awards-2018-red-carpet-gfy-1-1528354942.jpg)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/the-cmts-were-quite-the-fashion-experience-06-2018/)
