There were SO many bridal moments at this particular Met Gala, which is fun. Penelope said this was 1988 Chanel, but if I understood her correctly, the label made it for her anew, and it's not technically vintage.

I think she looks beautiful in this. Very Disney princess. But!! I also think it was a critical error not to wear the tiny top hat that Claudia Schiffer wore with this on the runway! Speaking of going for it: The Met Gala is the place to go for it in a tiny fashion top hat. Perhaps the ONLY place. (Okay, also the Kentucky Derby. Maybe an OTT British wedding.)

This fits her so well; she looks great, without overwhelming or drawing focus from anyone she interviewed. Amusingly, when she interviewed Anna Wintour, she did take off her sunglasses. If Anna's not wearing them, NEITHER ARE YOU.

I truly feel like Miu Miu could have done better by her; she also changed IMMEDIATELY into something black, in which she interviewed people, and of which I do not have a picture, which made THIS feel somewhat... contractually obligated. It IS very 90s.

I didn't think Chloe was a great interviewer, but she does look very on-theme and cute here. I also think she's been dressing herself for this very job for like the last three years, so...congrats on that, I guess! Blasberg looks like Blasberg, but his camillia lapel pin IS stunning.

A LOT of folks took the easy way out of being on theme and just wore sunglasses, which Karl notoriously loved. As we always say...everyone does look hotter in sunglasses. Roger looks impeccable, though. Mirka looks nice too! Everyone carry on.
