That's a little too naked on her. It's not a naked dress, per se, but something about the way it's barely skimming her chest, and the slit... it feels intimate.

This was shown on the runway withut the belt, and I genuinely can't decide which one works better. However, neither ONE of them is ideal. She is a very strong personality on Marvelous Mrs. Maisel -- she's so good in that part -- and I think whoever is styling her sometimes railroads her with clothing choices that are just too harsh.

Marin plays Rachel's mother on that show, as well as the principal on Speechless (and I remember her first from Once & Again, so apparently her niche is Supporting Roles On Shows I Dig). Anyhoo, the costumes on that show are super, so it makes sense that both these ladies would be repping it here. But I want to either line it all the way down, or cut it off at the knee, and hurl the beige pumps INTO THE SEA.

I begrudge Mandy Moore nothing -- she's very good on this show -- but imagine all her present-day This Is Us scenes with Sally Field in them. I MEAN. I don't even know if the ages there are right and I don't care. It just works.

I really like this dress, but please check out the look-book still of it, in which the dress pictured behind it is EXTREMELY FABULOUS. Someone PLEASE WEAR IT IMMEDIATELY. (Also, something about the way she is holding her face in every photo... does it kind of look like some experiments with injectibles went awry on her?)

I'm so happy for Eva, but not to the point where I won't question her wearing pajamas and plastic shoes to this. A pregnant lady needs to be comfortable, it's true, but... at the ery least we ditch the shoes, yes?
