Awkwafina in Reem Acra

I think this is VERY successful -- although I have to admit that I am a sucker for the long-sleeved formal gown, and a red/blush combo. But it's extremely glamorous to me.

Constance Lau in Time Taken to Make a Dress

This is really cool; she mentioned on her Instagram that this dress was custom made in Singapore (where the movie is set) by Time Taken to Make a Dress. She called it "a modern take on the Cheongsam in Singapore colours to represent my home."

Carmen Soo in Melinda Looi Couture

I don't have a credit for this dress's designer yet, but I'll update it when I track it down; in short, I LOVE this. [UPDATED: Got it, in the caption title.]

Jing Lusi in Fabiana Milazzo

This is ALSO great. I told you this premiere was sartorially successful! (It's also interesting-- a lot of pattern, and a lot of color.)

Jon M Chu

That's an excellent pocket square; the men likewise brought it last night.

Sonoya Mizuno

This is lovely.

Chris Pang

He is ALSO lovely.

Michelle Yeoh in Armani Prive

She is ageless and perfect, and I am SO THRILLED someone wore this gown, which I love.

Kris Aquino in Michael Leyva

This is majestic.

Harry Shum Jr

There were a lot of men in white/cream/white and cream suits last night, and I think you will appreciate them all. First, Harry Shum, Jr., whom I love.

Daniel Dae Kim

I have to say, I don't love the white/cream combo, but it looks SO INTENTIONAL here -- which, of course, it is -- that it course-corrects the usual white/cream issue, which is that it looks like someone got dressed in a very dim room. Also, he's handsome. (I kinda feel like, "also, he's handsome" should just be implied about all the men in this movie.)

Pierre Png

See? Handsome.

Amy J. Cheng

This just needs a tiny hoik.

Fiona Xie

I JUST noticed that her shoes are huge clear platforms, which says a lot about the inherent drama in the rest of this look.

Ming-Na Wen in Mark Zunino

I mean. How perfect is she?

Jae Suh Park and Randall Park

Randall Park, coming out to support his TV wife, and looking v. dapper indeed. His wife ALSO looks lovely.

Maia Shibutani (in Prabal Gurung) and Alex Shibutani

Adorable!

Kate Flannery

This is v. cute on her and also people are really excited to see this movie. BRING US ALL THE ROM COMS, PLEASE.

Emily V. Gordon (in Roksanda), Kumail Nanjiani

Speaking of rom coms!

Yara Shahidi in Prada

This is charming -- and literally the perfect dress to wear to the premiere of a movie you are not in, on a VERY hot night in Los Angeles.

Liv Lo and Henry Golding

Yes, I am putting Henry Golding in literally every post I write about this movie. Are you really going to complain?

The Rest of the Crazy Rich Asians Premiere Was Also REALLY GOOD

Everyone brought it.
