*The Crossover* is based on [a Newbery-award winning book by Kwame Alexander](https://amzn.to/3Kjg1xo?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), told in verse. I'll be interested to see how much of his poetic approach they try to reflect in the series. Anyway, it's about twins who are junior-high basketball phenoms, and I feel like they must have timed this to arrive on the heels of the men's and women's college championships, right? For the amateur\*\* sports and YA fans in your life. Look, Sabrina Revelle up there even came dressed as the letter Y, and also, in fact, as, "Eh?"

\*\* Amateur in the technical and financial sense. They hustle like pros.
