This is a great look on Diana, and not -- that I can recall -- based on an actual outfit. (Although she DID wear a lot of purple.)

This is all very accurate, though. My other question about this is sincere: Do we think Diana's friends ever tried to tell her that, like, she needs to meet Charles where he lives, in terms of his personality? (Obviously, he should also do the same for her.) Or did they all just agree with her all the time, as far as any of her plans go? I feel like if I had a friend whose husband hated her Billy Joel dance, and she told me she was getting Andrew Lloyd Webber to help her with a recording of herself singing "All I Ask of You," I might at least make a concerned sound?

Charles has really become a COMPLETE DICKHEAD; I sort of thought this show was going to lean more into his being Sad Sympathetic Charles at least a LITTLE bit but this has not happened.

"Ma'am, this might be a neat time to let the audience know about our interesting logistical plans for your death."

"Ma'am, truly, all your light sources are SPLENDID. At least you have that!"

This is meant to be Hugh Lindsay's funeral, and I must say that I think This Dude would have waited until after the event was concluded to tell Chaz that his Mother was requesting a meeting with him. But they spent all this money on the funeral scene!

"Yes, mother. I learned about throw pillows from you. I LEARNED FROM WATCHING YOU." (I actually LOVE this room.)

Honestly, Kate Middleton could emerge tomorrow in this literal, exact dress and no one would blink an eye. The 80s are TRULY back.

These two wore their most SERIOUS looks for the purpose of impressing upon the future King and Queen the importance of Coming to An Agreement About Being Discreet In Terms of Nailing Others.

Meanwhile, Camilla smokes and worries that her throw pillow supply is insufficient.

It's criminal that I do not have a massive country estate. I would do it justice.

Both Diana's suit AND her therapist's office are fantastic.

It's a bit hard to tell in this shot, but both Tiny Wills and Tiny Harry are really well cast and so cute. The Baby William looks SO much like Actual Child Wills.

Another gown that could easily be worn today. Josh O'Connor's tortured faces here were perfect; Charles needs to work on his poker face.

There was absolutely a man in the UK who would have been tickled by this and it was not Prince Charles. (He should have put on a happier face, though! Just be charmed by your partner's eccentricities!)

HIDEOUS!!!!!

Maybe I'll spend the next several months before I get the vaccine mastering this scarf situation.

Diana's study is VERY symmetrical.

I believe this dress is a riff on this actual Catherine Walker number.

DANCE OUT YOUR FEELINGS, DIANA!

Emerald Fennell deserves an award for acting through these bangs.

Look, she's miserable...but those sheets are great. Good linens are a comfort!
