I also was about to note that I totally cannot remember what his character is up to this season and then it all came rushing back to me. You could have told me it was just a made-up name and he actually just lurked around in the background the whole time because his sister Natalie wanted him there, but they aren't even related (that I can tell). Apparently, [he played this character and WOW I don't remember a lot of that happening](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List%5Fof%5FA%5FSong%5Fof%5FIce%5Fand%5FFire%5Fcharacters?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io#Beric%5FDondarrion) (maybe it's book events that we haven't gotten to yet?!?! I have no idea), in part because I stopped watching GoT in a huff in the middle of the season where the Red Headed Witch Lady murdered That Sweet Girl With The Scales On Her Face. (I have since returned, and am glad I did.
