Ryan Gosling

He looks great. Gosling was really at Maximum Swoon last night.

Donald Glover

A brown velvet tux can SO EASILY turn into Weird 70s Dad; I think he's totally working this, but it was a tightrope.

Milo Ventimiglia

Speaking of 70s Dads....

Cuba Gooding, Jr.

If only this fit. If the suit doesn't fit, you must...you know.

Diego Luna, Gael Garcia Bernal

"Hello! We're HANDSOME!"

Sterling K. Brown, Ryan Michelle Bathe

Well. They look FANTASTIC. I swear to you, when I saw this photo on Sunday afternoon, my heart LITERALLY beat faster at the sight of Sterling K Brown in those sunglasses and that suit. Ryan, you are a very lucky lady.

Mahershala Ali, Amatus Sami-Karim

Speaking of lucky ladies. He looks great, and her dress is really interesting.

Jon Hamm and Laura Dern

I've decided I need these two to date, like, IMMEDIATELY.

Chris Pine

Chris Pine, Sexy Werewolf, looks VERY HANDSOME in this suit. I, however, would have placed money on him wearing socks.

Brad Pitt

FYI, Brad Pitt is REALLY hot again.

Hugh Grant

I wish Hugh had worn a cummerbund with this.

Tom Ford

In a startling development, Tom Ford is wearing Burberry! (Not really. Tom Ford is in Tom Ford.)

Matt Damon, Luciana Barroso

I don't know what's happening with Damon's facial hair, but I have a lot of questions about it.

Hugh Laurie

I think Hugh is the winner of The Best Black Watch Plaid Suit at the Globes here. In addition to being a winner of an actual Golden Globe.

Nathan Anderson, Kyra Anderson, Anthony Anderson

The Anderson family looked great last night. Ryan Seacrest talked to Anthony's kids on E! and they were VERY charming.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Hilarie Burton

This is your annual reminder that these two are married.

Casey Affleck

Behold the man who dismissed the sexual harrassment scandal that's recently dogged him as "noise."

Christian Slater and Rami Malek

Both of these men look extremely well-tailored.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Sam Taylor-Wood

Aaron's win was a big shocker  -- although he is GREAT in Nocturnal Animals -- and it was also shocking to me to see him all cleaned up and not looking like a lunatic, as I'd just watched NA like two hours prior to the Globes.

Pharrell Williams, Mimi Valdes

I mean, this seems about right.

Eddie Redmayne

He looks good in Ye Olde Double-Breasted Suit, and also this was an appropriately subdued suit, given that he wasn't nominated.

Riz Ahmed

Riz went totally classic, and it was a good call. He looks great.

Joel Edgerton

Same, same.

John Legend

Same, same, same. Very handsome.

Dev Patel, Sunny Pawar

Did I download MULTIPLE SHOTS of Hot Hot Dev Patel carrying this adorable child? YES I DID.

Dev Patel, Sunny Pawar

I told you.

Dev Patel

He is just a handsome handsome man. I clearly need to see Lion.

Andrew Garfield

As I said on Twitter last night, I hope that this awards ceremony is the mechanism that brings Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone back together. I feel like they could be exchanging so many longing glances across ballrooms ALL WINTER.

74th Golden Globe Awards - Press Room

"Take me back, Taylor!"

Elsa Pataky, Chris Hemsworth

The Hems looks very handsome; Elsa looks like she's been overtaken by mold.

John Travolta, Kelly Preston

What you can't tell here is that Travolta's suit is aggressively pin-striped. It's VERY low-brow mobster movie.

Simon Helberg and Jocelyn Towne

They both look good here -- I actually really like Simon's suit -- but he was the person who prompted me to think, "the trend for dudes right now seems to be unwashed hair."

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau

I'm ready for this trend of Very Snug Suit Jackets to be over, though -- only because, if you're not careful, you sort of look like you're about to Hulk Out of them.

Caleb McLaughlin, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo

Well done, boys. Very well done.

Tony Hale

I have no idea what is going on here, but it makes me laugh.

Viggo Mortensen

What does it say about me that I vastly perfer Viggo when he looks like he's been living in a hole in the woods for six weeks?

Matt Bomer

Don't ask me why I don't have a full-body shot of Matt Bomer. But feel free to assume he's wearinfg short-shorts with this.

Annette Bening, Warren Beatty

Warren and Annette look like Peak Warren and Annette here.

Iggy Pop

Same, Iggy. Same.

Golden Globes 2017: The Dudes of the Globes

I am delighted to inform you that this Golden Globes Man Red Carpet brought us not one but two Black Watch plaid suits.
