Everyone looks great here! Obviously, it's hard to top the sartorial stylings of Honest Abe back there -- that man could wear a hat! (I jest but when I went to the Lincoln Memorial for the first time, I sobbed, so please know that my jests mostly cover all the FEELINGS that I shove down inside.)

Okay, so I am not yet at a point where I can ID all the various Bidens yet. I think this is correct, from left to right: Ashley Biden's (Joe and Jill's daughter) husband Howard Krein, granddaughter Natalie Biden in Markarian, granddaughter Maisy in Rodarte (and those kicks!), Ashley in that SUPERB Ralph Lauren tux, Joe & Jill, granddaughter Finnegan also in Markarian (they're having an AMAZING day at Markarian), granddaughter Naomi Biden in a fab purple dress for which I do not yet have a credit (edit: it's Valentino and it's a jumpsuit!), and grandson Robert Biden. I THINK I got that right? Anyway, y'all look fab! For sure, I need to know more about Naomi's shoes.

This photo made me laugh. "We need a shot of the two of you together; everyone else can watch over there in the corner!" (We haven't had a good shot of people jammed together on a balcony in a long time!)

I pulled this so we could admire Maisy's Rodarte dress, which I love, and then noticed that Dr. Jill's face mask has flowers on it to match her coat/dress. Baby Beau is having a very big day!

Here's another good look at everyone at the U.S. Capitol. Honestly, everyone looks sharp, but Ashley Biden looks SO GOOD in that suit. I wish we had a better straight-on view of Jill's coat but maybe she'll wear it again! (Or we'll all eventually just go see it in the Smithsonian.)

Baby Beau Biden, Joe Biden, Dr. Jill

Those Markarian dresses back there are very cute (and age appropriate; Finnegan and Natalie are 16 and 21, respectively). I suspect that Joe Biden is one of those people who always wants to hold the baby, and I know this because I, too, always want to hold the baby. Whoever the baby belongs to, I want to hold the baby. I will ALWAYS take your baby. Anyway, Baby Hog recognizes Baby Hog.

Vice President Kamala Harris

Madame Vice President looks VERY glam and I do hope we get to see this look in its entirety at some point.

Kamala Harris in Sergio Hudson

But this Formal Coat is GLAM.

Tom Hanks

Let's take a look at "'Celebrating America,' a primetime program to welcome a New Era of Leadership in celebration of the Inauguration of Joe Biden as President of the United States and Kamala Harris as Vice President of the US." Tom Hanks looks just like Tom Hanks! He did NOT show up wearing a Gritty costume or anything.

Eva Longoria

Meanwhile, Eva Longoria wisely got to do her hosting duties from inside, where she could wear whatever she wants!

Kerry Washington in Autumn Adeigbo

This suit looks SO good on Kerry's Instagram AND she's wearing cool shoes with it. (They're by AGL, which is an Italian brand run by three sisters; Autumn Adeigbo is also a woman-owned brand!)

John Legend

John Legend sang "Feeling Good," and he was FANTASTIC. Spoiler: John Legend can sing.

Put this picture on your piano, Chrissy!

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen

I pulled this picture because it was the best look at John's excellent coat; Chrissy's coat is ALSO great.

Bruce Springsteen

Much in the manner of Tom Hanks showing up, looking like Tom Hanks, so does Bruce look like Bruce. Or perhaps like Bruuuuuuuce.

Jon Bon Jovi

Jon Bon Jovi ALSO looks like himself -- although, in fairness, in my mind he also has much longer hair and we're all 25 years younger. (He sang "Here Comes the Sun," which was lovely; I guess "Livin on a Prayer" felt too on the nose? Also I suppose the rest of the band might be annoyed.)

Tyler Hubbard and Tim McGraw

Tim looks like himself and I've decided that Faith Hill also has that same vest, and they look cute wearing them together. Tyler Hubbard is the Georgia in Florida Georgia Line, and ALLEGEDLY Florida is mad at Georgia for doing this, because Florida is pro-Trump. (The fact that Florida is for Trump and Georgia went for Biden feels apt!) (I cannot imagine they are going to break up over this if they haven't already, but...)

Demi Lovato in Stella McCartney

"Demi might be the only person not wearing an American designer," I thought, and then I remembered that Stella's mother was an American. (I actually think this looks better on Demi than it does on the model; click to the second slide here to compare.)

Katy Perry in custom Thom Browne

This outfit has a very High Fashion Lady George Washington vibe. If ever there were an occasion!

I've NEVER said the sentence I'm about to type before, but: This look really compliments Abe Lincoln back there.

I also like that this photo makes it look like Katy -- who was singing "Firework" -- can CONTROL FIREWORKS BY MAGIC.

Black Pumas

Do you think the one guy in the hat feels angry that he didn't wear a hat? Did he not get the Everyone in Hats memo? I need an investigative report.

Dave Grohl (with the Foo Fighters)

EVERYONE on Twitter made this joke, but it's also true for me that Dave Grohl and I currently have a similar hair situation happening. (He and the Foo Fighters sang "Times Like This," and it really hit my right in my Gen X core when they crashed into the fast part.)

Yo-Yo Ma

FYI, Yo-Yo Ma is excellent at playing the cello.

Justin Timberlake and Ant Clemons

I realize you can't see JT's face here, but he looks like himself.

DJ Cassidy

I don't know where DJ Cassidy is reporting from but it looks like a wonderful hotel lobby. I miss hotel lobbies! Maybe next year.

Folks Changed Clothes for the Evening Portion of the 2021 Presidential Inauguration

People looked good!
