Ben and Jen (in Gucci)
I've decided this is J.Lo's version of a Batsuit. The top part appears to be neoprene. I wish it were a vest over a dress, but I THINK it might actually be a long top sewn to a skirt. And the skirt is a bit forgettable. It's not a TERRIBLE look, overall, but it's a bit uninspired. HAVING SAID THAT: Once again I am delighted that J.Lo is veering into a form of "uninspired" that is actually new territory for her. She hasn't gone weirdly sheer in ages.
They also kissed some and laughed on the red carpet, lest anyone decide they're getting a divorce, as they love to do. Ben Affleck should make a t-shirt that says IT'S FINE; I JUST HAVE RESTING CRANKY/HANGDOG/TIRED FACE.
Ezra Miller
They look perfectly fine. Like a vampire who is trying to pass as a modern person, but also smelts their own theme jewelry (those are lightning bolts). I am deeply skeptical of everyone's motivations here and on where any of this is going.
Michael Shannon
He seems like he's been... more excited at other times in his life.
Jessica Chastain in Oscar de la Renta
That's a very pretty jumpsuit, and is she just doing her contouring differently right now? Anyway: She and Shannon are friends, I think (and also did George & Tammy together), so that's why I decided she's there to prop him up somehow. I mean, maybe they're all fine with this, but I imagine it's not a tightrope that's very fun to walk, especially if you were not the person who chose to press on with releasing this thing and are contractually obligated to present yourself.
Sasha Calle in Saint Laurent
She plays Supergirl, which makes the cape a nice wink. This is a very sexy and cool take on the suit/gown situation.
Helen Slater
I did not have Helen "Original Supergirl" Slater on my list of people who might dip a toe into pelvic sheers. (I think it's a taupe lining but it's got aspirations.)
Kiersey Clemons
Kiersey is preparing to play a plant in her elementary production of Alice in Wonderland.
Dove Cameron
I'm never a huge fan of her Goth makeup? The dress is fine though. The shoes are going to snap her ankle. I mean, obviously we know they didn't, but are the odds ever in her favor here?!?
Quintessa Swindell
THIS is not my favorite makeup EITHER. It's not so much a smoky eye as an inferno. I DO like the rest of it.
Thuso Mbedu
She is so ready for summer, and L.A.'s June Gloom is NOT letting her have it.
James Gunn and Jennifer Holland
Just waiting for Alan Ruck to play him in the movie they'll make about deciding to go ahead with this movie. And looking forward to a LOT of alternative casting for that dress.
Richa Moorjani
That looks impossibly tight. A rib crusher.
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau
These are not the correct shoes, to me. They're too stark. No Game of Thrones surname pun intended. And he wasn't even a Stark.
Michael Cimino
Whereas HERE the glaring white shoes make sense. Also, that's some luscious hair.
Isaiah Mustafa
Our delightful former face of Old Spice! This is a little casual for this event, I think.
Ron Livingston
Ron is also in this movie, as Barry Allen's dad, and his daughter is ADORABLE. Perfect.
Miles Brown
He makes the letter-jacket style look suave.
Xochitl Gomez in Gucci
