"Stay cool, Jen, try to look like you're just... rearranging this thing, or something..."

"Ugh, I can't, though. I mean, what IS this piece of... thing... down there? Is it supposed to hang like that? Should I keep tugging at it? Or... why is it two inches longer than my skirt? Am I crazy? You're seeing this, right? Why didn't I notice this before?"

"Well, screw it. I'm wearing it; I'd better figure out how to own it. Maybe I'll pretend I'm back on Alias and that Sydney was... hmm... wearing nylons, and a terrorist sawed them off of her with a knife made of HUMAN TEETH, and then she kicked his ass into next week and is now on her way to meet him there and throw him in jail. YES. Work it."

This, I like much better, and she seems more confident in it. Aces, Jen. Parenthetically, this was shot outside Letterman, which... doesn't really at all explain why a lady in the background is holding a dress bag. Maybe she wandered into the overflow line after blowing a bunch of money at Saks and figured they'd let her hang her clothes off a lighting rig or something. Or maybe Jen bartered with her for the contents of the bag, and now the lady is standing there wondering whether she can unload the black skirt on eBay.
