Janelle Monae in Elie Saab

I was JUST wishing that Danai Gurira had picked this Elie Saab instead of the black sheer one she chose, and lo and behold, Janelle has it. I wonder if she called it first and it wasn't available. (I still stand by there being other better outfits in that line for Danai BUT I DIGRESS.) I sort of wish Janelle would stop looking shocked by herself in photos? Janelle Monae should never be shocked by herself. She owns all this froof. It's perilous but in a great, artistic way. Love that skirt.

Kate Hudson in Elie Saab

This is very, very pretty, and it is almost more drama than Kate can carry? You have to really WORK this, I think.

Better! Her face is not convincing me though.

Goldie Hawn

"This is how it's done, honey! Full glee!"

Emily V. Gordon

"I TOO CAN AND WILL WORK IT!"

Emily and Kumail Nanjiani

These two are having a lot of fashion fun lately. The sketches, I think, might be niftier than they show in photos? They come across a little blotchy.

Alexis Floyd

That top seems loose on her.

Olly Sholotan

Olly plays Carlton in the Bel Air series, which was his major break. I haven't as of this writing tracked down what the suit is, or says, but he's making me WANT to know more and so that's the job half done.

Saniyya Sidney

Still the loveliest. And still 16, and working Fancy Non-Scandalous in a way that the elderly among us (me) enjoys.

Jessica Henwick

This is VERY funky-experimental, but in a way that's interesting and effective on her. Does it need the overlay? No. Could it just be a strapless minidress? Yes. Do I mind that it has all this extra stuff? Not really. It's like an avant-garde ode to portholes.

Madelyn Cline in Versace

I STILL have not sampled Outer Banks. I need time. This dress is ritzy, and something I honestly would've expected to see on Kate Hudson, so maybe she's taking style inspo.

Madison Bailey

She's an Outer Banks co-star -- not to be confused with Bailee Madison, a whole other actress --

Sierra Capri in Harbison

This seems discordant, like it's trying to be Thom Browne meets Schiaparelli and doesn't hit either one.

Rege-Jean Page

He loses me around the ankles. (Yes, that might sound dumb, but it's the flare of the pant, the ankle slice, and the leather moccasins -- somehow they don't click.)

Leslie Odom Jr.

Whereas this just hangs on him. That's the trouble with the baggier-cut, longer-cut stuff. It can backfire and boot you straight to Schlumpytown.

Shauna Robertson and Ed Norton

I like this suit, and thought she was Leslie Mann for a hot second until I remembered Leslie is a brunette now.

Thora Birch

"It's winter. I just want to be warm. I forgot these were peep toes. Good night."

Jamie Lee Curtis

This may need lipstick. Or just... some pop of something. A smoky eye.

Emily Uribe

This suit is SUPER.

Natasha Lyonne

Fine, fine, everyone's fine.

Madison Iseman

Love the idea, wish it were not satin, and it is too tight.

Katherine Langford

... Did they get her on a yacht and throw her overboard?

Kathryn Hahn in Carolina Herrera

This sexy pirate may have done it.

It's The Glass Onion! Again! More!

Are your knives out?
