Oprah was honored with the Cecil B. DeMille award last night, and her speech was grand. I had to leave the house in the middle of the Globes to briefly do something, and when I came back and flipped on the TV, she was mid-speech and it was EXACTLY how I ALWAYS want to come home, to a great pep talk from Oprah. Her dress is only marginally sequined, but...I just wanted to talk about her. She looks SO GREAT in this. (The glasses are Sospiri, which she wears often and I ALWAYS want a pair. I do not wear glasses.)

I really like this dress on her, but I would have gone a different direction on the shoes. But from the waist up, for SURE, she looks fabulous.

This photo rather makes it look like Sarah is re-thinking the ribbon that is tacked to the front of her bodice -- although looking at this photo in a larger format, I think what I am looking at is the ribbon attached to her halter top. I am just not a huge fan of what's happening at Calvin Klein at the moment.
