[This event happened last year right around this time,](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/there-was-a-grand-event-at-the-louvre-yesterday-evening-03-2025/) and it is essentially the unofficial opening event of Paris Fashion Week and a fundraiser for the Louvre; a.k.a Paris's version of the Met Gala, just chicer and more *intime.* And without costumes. Or a theme. But with a more thrilling backdrop.
