# The Hermés Resort 2027 Collection Thinks You're Gonna Wear a Lot of Leather on That Cruise

As a note: Despite the fact that this collection was shown when everyone else is debuting their resort/cruise line, Hermes is claiming this one is actually NOT resort, but instead "Fall-Winter 2026 Second Chapter." Insert the Jennifer Lawrence eye-roll/thumbs up gif here.

In case you were wondering where this collection was shown, [*Vogue* reports,](https://www.vogue.com/fashion-shows/resort-2027/hermes?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) "An aerie of a pale yellow runway set was erected over the course of the last month in an open lot above the Hotel Bel Air. It required a golf cart ride up a steep incline to access (and, unfortunately, a long line waiting for said transportation when the show was over)." If *Vogue*, which surely depends on Hermés ad money, is willing to even mildly complain about logistical issues, this show must have been a total nightmare to leave. Likely because people *arrive* in dribs and drabs but everyone leaves at once; [THR reports that some people were sitting in traffic to get out of those twisty hill streets for TWO HOURS](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/lifestyle/style/hermes-fall-2026-runway-show-1236615061/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). My god! Hire more treacherous golf carts! You've got all that Birkin money! Anyway! Let's see if anyone will wear any of it if they're not being paid to do so.
