Jessica actually *watched* the Independent Spirit Awards, and wrote about it for today's freebie [Drinks With Broads](https://drinkswithbroads.substack.com/). I merely ooh'd and aah'd at Ms. Sheryl Lee Ralph and the variety of other bright outfits on display. There's a whole other post from this event coming next -- we broke out the lights and the darks into their own gallery, leaving me here with Sheryl, Jodie Turner-Smith, Michelle Yeoh, Sharon Horgan, Quinta, Haley Lu, Gabrielle... and Rooney Mara. Yes, Rooney Mara. THE Rooney Mara. SHE WORE RED. It's like an earthquake! Although it's L.A., so it's always possible I did also feel an actual earthquake.
