The Junos were scheduled opposite the Billboards, which is unfortunate if you are in Canada and you like music award shows. And although some Noted Canadians did attend, like Avril Lavigne and Shawn Mendes and Simu Liu, for the most part I am a blank slate here. Which is, frankly, fun for me: It's almost impossible for either of us to walk into an event (so to speak) and know almost nothing about anyone, just because we have to be eyeballs-deep in all this stuff day in and day out. I had no baggage here! It's nice.
