Before we discuss Laura Benanti's lovely merlot-colored gown, [please enjoy her daughter poking fun at her while wearing a similar color](https://www.instagram.com/p/DZDvTcoqVvu/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). They posted this on Instagram as an ad for Laura's cabaret/comedy show, and I enjoy that she's now wearing a very similar outfit. WAIT, maybe I fell for brilliant cross-promotion! They knew I'd see her here, think back upon the Instagram post, and mention it! You win this round, Benanti. You win.
