I was surprised to learn this is Herve Leger; I guess they're taking a break from the bandage dresses that became so ubiquitous around 2008 or so. This, I imagine, is J.Lo's idea of keeping it low key. "These are my CASUAL abs," I imagine her saying to Ben, before explaining to him that her stylist ranked the dress as Mild on their Shimmer Scale and kicked it out of "semi-formal" because of its full opacity.

AND, your eye goes to her purse and her six-pack, rather than to her earrings. The abs really are her primary accessory.

"Do we need to to couples photo yoga on the red carpet, too, or can we just walk and then stand and then walk again?" (Her hair is so SHINY. Wow. I have never attained that level of shine. Also, her dress is D&G, which is disappointing. So many other places to shop.)

Chloe is a pianist who also does some work scoring movies. (You might remember her from playing the piano for Cardi B at the Grammys in 2019.) I don't THINK she was involved in this one? Anyway, I love this whole thing from head to ankle. Then the clear shoes come out to play and I decide it's time to go inside for dinner.

This is so NOT anything I would guess as Elie Saab. It's a good reminder that the brand can do things other than filmy, sparkly gowns. It's crisp, if a little dull.

And then Shooter McGavin arrived. In this photo, he's giving me very faint Leslie Nielsen vibes, somehow?

But Harriet's badass monochrome separates are the true hero of the slideshow. I don't really know if those boots work for it, but if she's trying to scoot into our pantheon of People Who Look Like They'd Make Excellent Detectives, she's succeeding.
