*The Last Of Us* is based on an extremely popular video game, and was adapted for TV by Craig Mazin, a.k.a. the creator of the excellent *Chernobyl* and the author of many, many, many informative tweets about what a terrible and universally loathed person Ted Cruz has been since college (they were freshman year roommates at Princeton). So I support ALL his endeavors, as you might imagine. I'm curious how this will be, but I also don't know if I want to watch; while there are not zombies in its post-apocalyptic universe that I know of, there are "cannibalistic creatures infected by a mutated fungus," which sounds awfully similar. Anyway! Behold the premiere. Several big-name actors in the show didn't come, like Anna Torv, Murray Bartlett, and Melanie Lynskey, but I believe Melanie is off shooting *Yellowjackets* and that is an urgent use of her time as far as I'm concerned.
