I appreciate this CONCEPTUALLY as a kind of 1950s Starlet By the Pool idea. I dislike it in practice, though, because the wearer always ALWAYS feels the need to be like LOOK I'M WEARING SHORTS THERE ARE SHORTS HERE ARE MY SHORTS.

And then, voila, last night, at the premiere of Baby Driver, which I hear and believe is good, but which also has a terrible title. It sounds like the sequel to Boss Baby. Better is this dress, which is lovely on her from the back...
